Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to support their nationwide customer base.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working on-site with customers.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of specialist recycling and materials handling equipment across the UK.You'll play a key role in ensuring equipment uptime and delivering a high level of technical support to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and commissioning of specialist machineryPlanned preventative maintenance (PPM)Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosisMechanical and basic electrical fault findingWorking on hydraulic and pneumatic systemsCompleting service documentation and reportsProviding on-site technical support to customersThe Ideal CandidateBackground in plant, industrial machinery, materials handling, waste, aggregates, or similar heavy equipmentStrong mechanical engineering skills (electrical knowledge beneficial)Experience with hydraulics and conveyor-based systems advantageousComfortable working independently in the fieldFull UK driving licenceStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approachPackageCompetitive basic salaryPaid overtimeCompany van and fuel cardDoor-to-door travelOngoing training and developmentClear progression opportunitiesJBRP1_UKTJ
