This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join an established yet expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.\n\nThe Field Service Engineer builds and maintains relationships with customers while supporting the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of Vibration Test Equipment and systems.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nInstructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.\nEvaluate systems and make recommendations for improvements and solutions.\nCarry out preventative maintenance on customer sites in line with recommended procedures.\nTalk with customers and understand their needs, communicating the requirements and timeline for their system plan.\nWork with a team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently.\nTravel around the UK and overseas to install and maintain industrial testing equipment, sometimes on short notice.\nOn occasions be prepared to work in excess of the normal 37.5 hour week or anti-social hours whilst observing contractual obligations.\nBe familiar with all Health and Safety rules and regulations when working.\nOther duties may be assigned as required.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nEducated to a minimum NVQ level 2/BTEC in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
