Field Service Engineer - Critical Power

The Role:

As a Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers have reliable power when they need it most. The area is Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex:

Servicing, maintaining, and repairing generators, UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, and control systems
Diagnosing faults and carrying out testing and inspections
Installing and commissioning critical power equipment
Responding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective solutions
Conducting load bank testing, site surveys, and system investigations
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
Producing accurate service reports and documentation
Identifying additional service or sales opportunities

You:

Strong electrical/mechanical engineering background
Experience with generators, UPS systems, or critical power equipment (preferred)
Ability to work independently and manage on-site activities
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Willingness to travel, work on-call, and occasionally stay away overnight
Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
