As a Field Service Engineer, you will travel from the Reading / Oxfordshire area to customer sites across the UK, carrying out:

• Service, maintenance and repair
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Breakdown response and inspection work

on a wide range of plant and industrial equipment.

Youll be working both independently and as part of a wider team, with occasional overnight stays required depending on job location.

• Service, maintain and repair plant machinery and industrial equipment across customer sites
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment to safe working condition
• Inspect machinery and recommend repair or replacement of components
• Complete job reports and documentation accurately
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work completed and next steps
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and professionalism
• Support yard-based work when required at the local base

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Plant Engineer / Service Engineer / Mobile Engineer
• Background working on plant, access equipment, forklifts, HGVs or similar machinery
• Strong fault finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering or Plant Maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide
