Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join the UK service team, based in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, ensuring reliability, high performance, and customer satisfaction.
We are open to junior profiles with strong technical foundations and the ambition to grow within the medical imaging industry. Comprehensive training and ongoing development will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced medical imaging systems at customer sites.
* Perform preventive maintenance and implement software/hardware upgrades.
* Provide technical support and training to clinical end-users.
* Ensure timely resolution of service requests and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the wider service team and report to the UK Service Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
* Strong interest in medical imaging and healthcare technologies.
* Hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.
* Customer-oriented mindset, with excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to travel across the UK when required.
* Fluent in English.
