Field Service Engineer

Join a leading Class A OEM specialising in designing, developing, and manufacturing world-class precision machine tools for the manufacturing sector. As technology advances rapidly, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled electrical/electronics professional to contribute to the design, development, and fault-finding processes on exceptionally complex, electrically powered precision machine tools.

\n

What We're Looking For:

\n

\n Electrical fault-finding expertise - Priority \n

Proficiency in reading electrical schematic drawings\n \n

Strong IT skills (networking, fault-finding) \n

Understanding of mechanical systems and machinery and Precision Engineering\n \n

Experience in test and commissioning\n \n

Understanding of PLC controls and control functionalities \n

Knowledge of installing full turnkey lines, interconnecting several pieces of machinery to form a production line ensuring all safety measures and meeting industry standards & conformity \n

\n

Desired Skills:

\n

\n \nPLC programming experience (Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, ABB) \n

Ability to design electrical circuits on CAD \n

Knowledge of UKCA / CE standards\n \n

Understanding of Mechanical Applications and work with Mechanical Machinery\n \n

\n

Soft Skills:

\n Can-do attitude\n \n

\nPrecise attention to detail \n

\nProblem-solving expertise for complex issues \n
