Field Service Engineer\n\nLocation: Midlands and London field work (with travel to other parts of England)\n\nSalary: £39,000 - £49,000 + Overtime (depending on experience).\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nOur client has secured projects with Rail clients to maintain and troubleshoot train systems across key UK locations. We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to join the team and play a critical role in ensuring reliability and safety on rolling stock equipment. Our specialist maintenance teams provide repair and maintenance of rolling stock as well as installation and maintenance of equipment, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of its services.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInvestigate, fault-find, and rectify issues on Train systems at various rail sites.\n\nPerform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.\n\nProvide technical support and ensure compliance with safety standards.\n\nTravel to Midlands/London and other locations around the UK.\n\nEssential: \n\nStrong hands-on experience with maintenance systems (fault finding and maintenance).\n\nDesirable:\n\nKnowledge of Electrical systems.\n\nMechanical or Electrical qualifications or equivalent experience for the higher salary banding.\n\nAbility to work independently and adapt to different rail environments.\n\nSalary of £39,000 for an Engineer - up to £49,000 for a Qualified Senior Engineer (More experience commands a higher salary).\n\nOpportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading manufacturer.\n\nTravel across the UK with expenses covered.\n\nVan and fuel card provided.\n\nTerms & Benefits:\n\n25 days holiday plus your birthday off\nOvertime: Time and a half\nSaturday Overtime: Time and a half\nSunday/Bank Holiday Overtime: Double time\n\nIf you are interested, click to apply or contact Kenny at Ford & Stanley. \n\nAbout Ford & Stanley Group\n\nFord & Stanley Talent Services Group are in the business of people and performance.
