Field Service Engineer (Plant Machinery) Wanted! – Immediate Start\n Nationwide Travel – Based in Reading\n Pay: £35K-£50K + Overtime + Van + Door2Door Pay + Private Healthcare Insurance\n\nAre you an experienced Field Service Engineer, with Plant Machinery expertise? We are currently looking for a hard-working Field Service Engineer with proven hands-on Plant Machinery experience to join a growing team in Reading.

This role involves the high quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs on plant and industrial machinery.\n\nThis is a hands on, field based role for a company whose turnover doubled in the last year, entrusting you to represent the business on customer sites nationwide.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\n\nWorking on a wide range of plant machinery including diggers, excavators, cranes, and similar equipment\nDiagnosing faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems\nCarrying out service, maintenance, and repairs\nApprox. 70% field-based / 30% yard-based\nNationwide travel with occasional overnight stays\nWorking independently and managing your own workload\nCompleting job reports and maintaining high safety standards\nRequirements\n\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant / Engineering\nProven experience as a Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer\nStrong fault-finding skills across hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems\nExperience working on a range of plant machinery (construction, quarry, hire etc)\n Full UK driving licence\nAbility to work independently and problem solve on-site\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary (£35K–£50K DOE)\nOvertime available\nCompany van + fuel card + tools + PPE\nDoor-to-door pay\nFlexible working where possible\nOngoing training & development\nAdditional qualifications (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR)\nPrivate healthcare (post-probation)\nCompany pension\nGenuine progression opportunities as the business grows\nNext Steps\n\nApply to this Field Service Engineer role through this advert.
