Job Role: Field Service Engineer – Forklifts\n\nLocation: Leicester, Leicestershire \nSalary: £35,000-£40,000 base (OTE £45,000+) - paid door to door \nHours: Monday-Friday 08.00-17:00 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x \nJob Type: Full time, Permanent \n \nThe client: \nInteraction Technical have partnered with a well-established, growing Material Handling firm on their search for an experienced Mobile forklift repair engineer to join their growing team. Our client provides handling and access solution to firms all over the UK and have sites spread across all areas in the UK. \n\nThe package: \n\n24 days annual leave + public holidays (32 days overall) \nDoor to Door Paid \nFull training and Development surrounding electrical & mechanical repairs, fault finding and diagnostics \nOpportunity to develop and progress long term within the company (leadership and management)\nOvertime available at 1.5X\nComp van, Fuel Card - includes private use within reason \nAll Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site \nA fantastic Earning Potential with scope to progress internally \nThe Duties: \n\nAccurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery. \nCollaborate with customers surrounding the plant, lifting and handling products. \nThe ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered. \nActively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions. \nWorking on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs. \nThe Requirements: \n\nPrevious experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries (essential) \nPrevious experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential) \nExperience working with engines and batteries (essential) \nElectrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience \nRelevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) \nFull UK Drivers License \nInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
