Field Service Electrician, Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire/S Yorks, £40,000-£60,000 (dependent on experience)\n\n+ excellent benefits, including bonus, c£3k on call rota allowance, van, private health & dental and uncapped overtime\n\nOur client are pioneering leaders in the field of renewable energy solutions and one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK. With an enviable and exciting client base, this is a hugely exciting time to join the company as a Field Service Electrician, to install and maintain their solutions in a variety of exciting locations across the UK.\n\nThe key responsibilities of the Field Service Electrician are:\n\nInstall, de-rig, operate and maintain company solutions\nJoin an On-call rota to provide cover for emergency call-outs\nAdvanced fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems\nConducing electrical testing & inspection\nWork on both AC & DC systems, including battery inspections and swap outs\nAbility to analyse and solve complex problems\nAbility to be extremely flexible & dynamic to meet changing customer requirements\nFrequent travel and working in different locations across the UK & occasionally internationally\nSolutions operate 24/7 365, therefore out of hours working is required, including some weekends \n\nThe ideal Field Service Electrician will possess:\n\nRecognised technical qualification and training in an electrical discipline\nEligible for or holding an ECS Installation Electrician Gold Card.\nHold a recognised BS7671:2018 (18th Edition) qualification.\nSuccessful completion of AM2.\nProven experience working with AC and DC systems, including UPS systems and batteries.\nDemonstrated ability to repair and install electromechanical equipment.\nHold a full, valid UK driving licence.\nExperience using a Permit to Work (PTW) system.\nCity & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection qualification.\nCompEx Ex01-Ex04 certification. \n\nYou will also benefit from the following experience:\n\nHV/LV Authorised Person experience.\nExperience working with Temporary Electrical Systems (BS 7909).\nOperational Health and Safety Awareness for Standby Battery Systems.\nBattery Installation & Maintenance Course (BIMC) certification.\nHND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or degree in an engineering related discipline.\nFamiliarity with Electrical Design and Certification Software.\nCCNSG Safety Passport.\nExperience working around high-pressure gas systems \n\nPlanet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
