Field Sales Representative - Edinburgh

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Sales Representative to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Sales Representative, Direct Sales Consultant or Field Sales Executive.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:30
  • Flexible start and finish times depending on business needs

Salary:

  • £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonus potential

Day-to-day duties:

As a Field Sales Representative, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Managing and growing existing wholesale accounts
  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities within your territory
  • Visiting clients face-to-face to build strong, lasting relationships
  • Presenting and promoting products through meetings and demonstrations
  • Negotiating pricing, terms and closing deals
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to order completion
  • Ensuring excellent customer service to drive repeat business
  • Updating CRM systems with activity, pipelines and forecasts
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Field Sales Representative, you will need:

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales, wholesale or account management
  • Strong track record of winning new business
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
  • Target-driven with a proactive and resilient approach
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience within wholesale, distribution or FMCG sectors
  • Knowledge of managing regional sales territories

Training:

  • Full training provided with ongoing support and development
