An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global market leader as a Field Sales Engineer, driving growth across the Isolation Valves business in Scotland and Northern England. This is a customer-facing role focused on developing strong relationships, growing key accounts, and delivering measurable commercial success.

The role

You will take ownership of a defined territory, building a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities. Using a consultative sales approach, you’ll identify new business, strengthen existing accounts, and create growth strategies that support regional objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing a sales strategy for Isolation Valves product lines.

* Growing the opportunity funnel through key accounts and achieving/exceeding targets.

* Understanding customer drivers and positioning solutions that support their goals.

* Using consultative selling and account planning tools to uncover needs and opportunities.

* Monitoring the market and identifying early opportunities across the territory.

* Managing third-party distribution partners and building joint business plans.

* Working with internal teams to prepare quotations and proposals.

* Producing accurate monthly forecasts and annual bookings budgets.

* Using CRM effectively to manage customer communication and coordination.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong B2B track record and a genuine customer focus. You’ll ideally bring an engineering background, preferably in valve-related technology, and a consultative approach to selling.

A full, clean driving licence is essential.
