Field Reporting System Engineer (Technical Services Intern)
Swindon
Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Fixed Term (Until May 2026)

HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction Limited is a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.
About the role
We are looking to expand our team with a skilled and enthusiastic Field Reporting System Engineer to be based at our Swindon Head Office.
This opportunity will require you to support in developing a Nexplore daily diary for use on our projects and systems. You will also develop alternative field reporting applications for QA processes and check sheets.
You will test and demonstrate the daily diary internally and assist in preparing training materials ready for roll out including self-learning videos and guidance notes.
The role will require you to prepare reporting dashboards in Power BI and develop the above to be ready for use on live projects within 4 months.
About you
It is essential that you are IT literate and are confident using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
You will have a strong ability to develop software applications and link platforms working alone and in team.
Basic competence in AutoCAD software is also required.
