Field Maintenance Engineer\n Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits\n Location: Birmingham (field-based)\n We’re recruiting experienced Field Maintenance Engineers to join a respected specialist in fire suppression and safety systems. You’ll play a key role maintaining and repairing water mist fire suppression systems for clients across the London or Birmingham regions.\n The Role:\n\nCarry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs of water mist fire suppression systems\nLiaise with the office to plan maintenance visits and ensure all equipment and parts are available\nProvide a professional on-site service, representing the company to customers with high standards of conduct and safety\nComplete all job paperwork accurately via tablet or iPad\nParticipate in call-out duties on a rota basis\nMaintain your service vehicle, tools and PPE to required standards\nFollow all QHSE procedures and ensure compliance with company and industry regulationsRequirements:\n\nGood knowledge of water mist fire suppression systems and the wider fire protection sector\nProven experience in a field engineer, maintenance, or service technician role\nRelevant technical qualifications – ideally Level 3 Electrical (18th Edition preferred)\nConfident using digital reporting tools (tablet/iPad)\nFull UK driving licence\nAble to pass Enhanced Level 1 security vetting (custodial establishments) – support providedBenefits:\n\n£35,000 – £40,000 basic salary (depending on experience)\n24 days’ holiday + bank holidays\n3x life insurance\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nOngoing training and manufacturer certificationsIf you’re a technically skilled, self-motivated engineer with a strong background in fire protection systems, we’d love to hear from you
