You’ll cover UK-wide client sites.\n\nCore Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00, with paid overtime (1.5x hourly rate), weekend and night shift flexibility needed..\n On-call rota: 1 week in every 3 (with £3,000 allowance and generous overtime rates).\n\nThe Role\n\nAs part of our UK-wide Maintenance Support team, you'll work flexibly across a variety of fast-paced environments delivering top-quality support for automated material handling systems. Your role will include:\n\nServicing and fault diagnosis on electro-mechanical systems\n\nSupporting customers nationwide, often autonomously\n\nIdentifying improvements to boost reliability and reduce downtime\n\nAdvising on spare parts and long-term fixes\n\nLiaising professionally with customers and other AMH teams\n\nOccasional project support and site-based reactive cover\n\nPro-rata on-call coverage (shared across the team)\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\nONC/HNC or equivalent qualification with electrical bias (essential)\n\nStrong experience with automated systems maintenance\n\nConfidence working independently and fault-finding under pressure\n\nComfortable with travel, overnight stays and shift flexibility\n\nFull UK Driving licence\n\nProactive communicator with a can-do, solutions-focused mindset\n\nStrong English Language and good communication skills.\n\nWhat’s In It For You?\n\n£44,100 base + £3,000 on-call allowance\n\nPotential to earn £65,000–£80,000+ based on overtime appetite\n\nCompany van, fuel card, iPad, laptop & mobile\n\nMatched pension (5%)\n\n33 days annual leave\n\n6x salary death in service\n\nFlexible, empathetic management\n\nPerformance-related bonus opportunities\n\nAll tools, uniform and kit provided\n\nPersonal development, career progression & trade test support\n\nAt AMH, inclusion, diversity and respect are part of how we operate.
