Job Description

Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Engineer Vehicle Wash Machinery.\n\nWe are seeking an electrical bias field engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the North of England.\n\nSalary £40K -£44K +OT +Van + Bonus OTE £48K -£50K\n\nThe Role: \n\nThe field engineer will be responsible for electrical and mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment. \n Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;\n\nAssist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning\n3-phase electrical installations and fault find and repair e.g. control panels, motors, sensors, relays etc etc\nAttend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault find and repair work\nUndertake scheduled planned maintenance checks \nEnsure accurate visit reports including details of work undertaken /completed is recorded on computer systemCandidate:\n\nYou will be a competent engineer with excellent 3-phase electrical and mechanical fault find and repair skills.

\n\nIdeally you will have recognised qualification in electrical engineering e.g 18th edition.\n\nApplicants with previous work experience with vehicle wash systems would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given. \n\nYou will be computer literate and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n\nMust be comfortable with working outdoors and occasionally staying from home.\n\nHours of Work:\n\nMonday to Friday 45 Hours +OT\n\nBenefits:\n Competitive Basic salary £40K -£44K + OT + Bonus OTE £48K -£50K\n Company Van, phone & laptop\n33 days annual leave\n Pension\n Excellent work life balance work routine
