Field Account Manager - FMCG - North of England - 9-Month Fixed Term Contract

This role plays a pivotal part in nurturing existing accounts, increasing product impact, and supporting clients through product education, visual merchandising, and strategic sales initiatives to maximise overall revenue.

This is a field-based role covering the North of England, with ideal candidate location being Edinburgh.


This position is a 9-month fixed term contract.



Responsibilities


  • Manage a portfolio of retail accounts in a field-based role, with a strong focus on driving further sales and account growth
  • Deliver against key performance indicators, including regular site visits, product availability, and distribution targets
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across retail partners
  • Educate store leaders and wider teams on product range, optimal placement, and the importance of maintaining availability to enhance overall performance
  • Anticipate potential challenges and confidently address objections with proactive solutions
  • Gather insights on pricing and distribution, sharing key findings with internal stakeholders
  • Spot and pursue new commercial opportunities to support continued business growth


The Successful Candidate


  • 12+ months experience in a field sales / field account management position
  • Experience in the FMCG space would be a plus
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is essential
  • Based in Edinburgh or surrounding areas


Field Account Manager Package


  • Basic salary: £35,500 per annum
  • OTE: circa +£10,000-12,000
