Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Fibre Optic Engineering Review and Training Support based in Manchester 2-3 Days a week, remainder remote for an initial 4 month contract.
*MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE.*
*INSIDE IR35.*
Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile consultant to lead the end-to-end delivery of a Fibre Optic Learning & Development engagement for a defence-sector client. This role combines technical expertise in fibre optics with instructional design, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Consultancy & Analysis Conduct on-site assessment of existing fibre optic systems, processes, and practices across manufacturing, test, and design teams. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Produce a detailed findings and recommendations report. Training Design & Development Define learning outcomes based on consultancy insights. Design a tailored training package for three distinct teams (Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Design).
