Female Support Worker - Part‑Time (Permanent, 28hrs/week)

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Days only

Hours: Part‑time - 28 hours per week (permanent)

Person Specification

• Experience supporting individuals with ASD and Asperger’s Syndrome
• Experience working with Mental Health conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours
• A Full UK Driving Licence (desired but not essential)
• Strong multi‑tasking, time management, and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility
• A caring, compassionate, and positive approach to support
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour and conflict
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred support to individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes
• Support with daily tasks such as medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and completing paperwork
• Offer both emotional and practical support
• Help individuals access community facilities and participate in community activities
• Build trusting relationships that promote independence and improve quality of life
• Empower individuals to develop new skills and explore hobbies and interests
