Family Support Worker

Pay rate: £13.79 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Are you a compassionate individual looking to make a difference in people’s lives? We're looking for a Family Support Worker in Heswall.

As a Family Support Worker, you will be working in a parenting assessment unit supporting resident’s to be parents to their children. You will be working with parents who may have additional needs also such as Autism, ASD, ADHD ,poor mental health, substance concerns and other learning needs.

As a Family Support Worker, we can offer you:

Nights - 12-hour shifts (8:30pm - 8:45am) Days – 12-hour shifts (8:30am – 8:45pm) £12.30 per hour (holiday pay inclusive) Weekly Pay 24/7 support from our branch team Comprehensive free training Opportunity for further development, including access to NVQ’s What we need from you as a Family Support Worker:

Be over the age of 18 to apply Have the right to work in the UK. Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship. To have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting To have previous experience with children as young as 5 years Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector To be confident in relation to intervention skills to Safeguard and meet the welfare of Children and Vulnerable adults To understand children’s rights, diversity and have previous experience with conflict resolution have knowledge regarding issues impacting on children and families such as Domestic Abuse, Learning Needs, Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Misuse.
