We are working with a highly supportive and specialist SEN school in Gloucester that is dedicated to providing a nurturing, inclusive environment for pupils with complex needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and committed Family Support Worker to play a key role in strengthening the link between home and school. You will support pupils-helping to overcome barriers, improve engagement, and promote positive outcomes in and beyond the classroom.

The Role: Family Support Worker - Complex SEN setting - Gloucester

Work closely with the DSL and wider pastoral team Provide targeted support and interventions for pupils and their families Build strong relationships with parents/carers to support engagement and wellbeing Carry out assessments and contribute to tailored support plans Occasionally visit families at home to provide additional support Collaborate with teaching and specialist staff to ensure a holistic approachThe Ideal Candidate:

Recent experience supporting children and families with complex or severe learning difficulties Strong understanding of safeguarding and pastoral support Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach.Requirements:
