About the Firm

This opportunity is with a client-focused law firm with a strong reputation for delivering pragmatic, compassionate legal advice. Based in Manchester city centre, the firm is expanding and we are looking for a dedicated Family Solicitor to join its supportive and ambitious team.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of private and public family matters, including:

    \n
  • Divorce and financial remedy proceeding
  • Children law matter
  • Domestic abuse
  • Cohabitation and separation agreements
  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Domestic abuse matters

The role offers genuine autonomy, direct client contact and the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

    \n
  • Is a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (ideally 3+ PQE, although all levels will be considered)
  • Has solid experience handling a full caseload of private and public family matters
  • Demonstrates strong advocacy and negotiation skills
  • Is confident managing client relationships independently
  • Has a commercial mindset and an interest in contributing to the firm's growth
  • Panel membership (e.g., Law Society Family Panel) would be advantageous but is not essential.
