Job description
Full Time, Permanent

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Family Hub and Early Help Team Manager to lead and manage our Family Hubs and Early Help services in South Bristol.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate leader who can support the Family Hubs Service Manager in developing Bristol's vision for preventative and community based Early Help support. You will be leading a large team, working across multiple sites in South Bristol, delivering evidenced based and outcomes focussed work for children 0 - 19 (25 with SEND).

You will ensure that the service develops in line with our Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme expectations and responds to the Government's Opportunity Mission and Best Start in Life Milestones. Working alongside the Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme Leader, you will support the strategic direction of services that enable children to thrive and reach educational and health outcomes.

Working at the centre of our Children and Education Directorate and alongside cross-council teams, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality responsive services that meet the needs of local families. You will build strong partnerships with the community, education, health and the voluntary, community and faith sectors and ensure seamless collaboration with our Neighbourhood Family Help and Safeguarding teams. We are committed to co-production, recognising the value that our children and young people, parents, carers and partners bring to developing and shaping the services we deliver and to the strength of our Early Help system.

If you're passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families, and committed to tackling inequality, we encourage you to apply.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
