Factory ManagerLocation: Ellesmere Port, UKSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annumJob Type: PermanentOur client, a well-established and reputable manufacturing business specialising in LDG Aluminum Windows, is currently seeking an experienced Factory Manager to join their team based in Ellesmere Port. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and hands-on professional with a strong background in the aluminium faade industry.About Our ClientOur client has built a strong reputation over many years by directly employing their own site installation teams, ensuring full control and consistency across all installation works. During peak periods, they utilise a network of trusted subcontractors who work alongside and under the close supervision of their in-house teams, maintaining the same high standards throughout.The RoleAs Factory Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the factory. You will ensure production targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and operations run efficiently. The role will involve managing a team of fabricators as well as coordinating deliveries and workflow, with a strong focus on LDG Aluminum Windows production.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and motivate a team of approximately 10 fabricatorsOversee daily production, particularly within LDG Aluminum Windows, ensuring efficiency and on-time deliveryMaintain strict quality control standards across all manufactured productsCoordinate logistics and delivery schedulesIdentify and implement process improvements to optimise productivityEnsure full compliance with health & safety regulationsProvide training, guidance, and ongoing support to staffWork closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operationsRequirementsProven experience in a Factory Manager or similar roleStrong background in the aluminium faade industry (essential)Experience working with LDG Aluminum Windows or similar systems is highly desirableCandidates with significant uPVC experience will also be consideredDemonstrable experience managing production teamsSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality controlStrong organisational and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentGood knowledge of health & safety standards within manufacturingApply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
