Nine Twenty is working with a well known and established drinks manufacturer to find a Facilities Manager to join their team in Ayrshire. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for taking ownership, improvements and smooth running of all facilities across the site.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of site facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and presentable at all times.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become problems.
Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure timely completion.
Respond quickly and effectively to facility-related issues reported by staff at all levels and achieve and/or exceed service level agreement response times.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality project work is delivered on time and within budget.
Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives / monitoring tools to enhance site efficiency, safety, and presentation. Develop SLAs & KPIs for Facilities service provision.
Manage facilities budgets, including cost control and reporting.
Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and statutory compliance activities.
Support business continuity plans and emergency response procedures.
Assume ownership of site facilities systems
Requirements
Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, or a related role.
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Experience managing contractors and service agreements.
Budget management experience is desirable.
Relevant technical or trade qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH, engineering, building maintenance) .
