Job Description

Are you a seasoned Facilities Manager who thrives on variety, responsibility, and making things run like clockwork? This is your opportunity to take ownership of a broad and impactful role that covers everything from keeping complex sites operational to shaping the future of workplace environments.

Why this role is worth your attention:

You won’t be “just managing buildings” — you’ll be at the heart of ensuring a safe, compliant, and productive environment for every employee, visitor, and stakeholder. You’ll have the freedom to influence how services are delivered, how assets are maintained, and how facilities evolve to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading all aspects of hard and soft facilities management across multiple sites, including mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance.
  • Overseeing fleet management, grounds maintenance, and other FM services that keep operations seamless.
  • Driving statutory compliance across the board — from building legislation to specific safety regulations (PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, etc.).
  • Managing everything from cleaning, catering, and security to refurbishment projects, supplier contracts, and lease advice.
  • Being a visible, trusted presence — building strong relationships with employees and leadership while delivering practical solutions.
  • Using your technical insight to influence building projects at the design stage, ensuring future maintenance is factored in.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing facilities across complex or multi-site environments.
  • Professional membership (IWFM, RICS) and a relevant occupational health & safety qualification (NEBOSH NGC or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels — including producing clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • IT confidence (including MS365 and CAFM systems).
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

What’s in it for you:

  • Competitive salary plus benefits.
  • A role where your impact is visible every day — on safety, efficiency, and the workplace experience.
  • Ongoing professional development to keep you at the cutting edge of facilities management.
  • The opportunity to work across diverse locations, influencing everything from daily operations to long-term strategy.
