Job Description
Job Title: Facilities & Maintenance Manager\n\nWorking Pattern: Onsite 8am - 4pm, Monday-Friday\n\nLocation: Primarily East London, with travel to other London sites as required\n\nRole Overview\n This role is responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance across all London sites, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, systems run efficiently, and receive an excellent experience. The position focuses on driving continuous improvement through effective contractor management, strong asset control, and optimisation of maintenance processes, while also supporting budgeting and prioritisation of works. Hands-on maintenance support is required when necessary.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee maintenance across all sites, ensuring quick and effective issue resolution\nManage 4 contractors and support the wider team to deliver high standards\nManage the maintenance ticketing system, including overseeing the ticket board and driving performance improvements\nConduct regular check-ins with contractors, including site visits and building walks\nCollaborate with FOH and on-site teams to support daily operations and emergency situations\nDeliver a high-quality experience in partnership with on-site teams\nHold regular team meetings to review performance and identify process improvements\nSupport maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost analysis\nPrioritise works based on impact, cost, and value\nMaintain accurate stock control and asset records\nProcess contractor timesheets and invoices\nProactively manage contractors to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on external support\nEnsure meter readings are completed accurately and reported on time\nCarry out hands-on maintenance when requiredKey Requirements\n\nPrevious hands-on experience working "on the tools" or within a trade (e.g.
electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or similar)\nStrong understanding of building compliance and maintenance standards\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nStrong customer service mindset\nFull UK driving licence\nFlexibility to travel between sites\nAvailability to respond to emergencies outside normal working hours
