Key Responsibilities
Lead the faade design process from concept to completion, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to deliver efficient, and compliant faade solutions.
Oversee external design consultants and subcontractors
Attend site and client meetings, providing technical advice and resolving design issues.
Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety standards, and sustainability objectives.
Requirements
A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering Construction Management, or a related field and preferably an Msc in Faade Engineering.
Proven experience in faade design and management within the UK construction industry.
Strong knowledge of curtain walling, cladding systems, and building envelopes.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
