AJP are currently looking for Fabricator welders for the UK's leading independent supplier of forklift truck attachments and masts, based in Cramlington.
Full-time, Permanent
Duties include:
Fabricating and welding components as per technical engineering drawings Single and multi-run fillets, burning and grinding Use of hand tools Assessing which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task Inspecting welded surfaces and dressing them for the best finish Role Requirements:
Must be fully qualified with a relevant level 3 in metal fabrication and/or welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions Inspecting completed work to verify that it meets specifications Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and adhered to Highest starting salary rate will apply to certified coded welders (appropriate standard - EN ISO 9606-1:2017). Certification must be in date.

To be able to work alone Good practical skills To be able to work precisely Good concentration levels Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 16:00pm Friday 8:00am-12:00pm
Contracted hours are 36 hours per week Overtime is regularly available at an enhanced rate Benefits:
