Responsibilities

* Carry out plating and fabrication work in a heavy industrial engineering environment

* Fabricate structural steel components in line with detailed engineering drawings

* Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently

* Ensure all completed work meets strict quality and industry standards

* Follow site health and safety procedures at all times

* Collaborate with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time

* Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Requirements

* Proven experience in plating and fabrication within heavy engineering or industrial settings

* Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings accurately

* Skilled in the use of fabrication tools, machinery, and equipment

* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

* Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled trades team
