Job Type: Temporary, ongoingJoin a leading engineering company based in Birtley, Tyne & Wear, as a Profile Burner. This role offers a temporary ongoing opportunity.
Day-to-day of the role:
Working on the repairs team as a fabricator / burner.
Operate profile burning machines to cut and shape metal components according to specifications.
Conduct quality inspections of work carried out.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Use of Oxy-Fuel cutting and gouging is critical.
Proven experience as a Profile Burner, ideally within a heavy steel product environment.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
