We’re looking for an experienced Fabric Technologist to join a busy multi-product Menswear team.

Our client is a long established manufacturer who has been shaping menswear for decades, partnering with some of the biggest names in retail. As a Fabric Technologist you will develop and source new fabrics and thrive on problem-solving.

Fabric Technologist - Responsibilities:

• Work closely with suppliers to develop and source fabrics that set trends, not follow them.
• Keep innovation aligned with strategic sourcing—smart, sustainable, and cost-effective.
• Own the colour process: lab dips, approvals, and flawless execution.
• Troubleshoot when tests fall short and find solutions that work.
• Risk-assess new fabrics and ensure compliance from fibre composition to care labels.
• Maintain technical files and work towards achieving ESG and Scope 3 and customer targets.

Fabric Technologist- Skills and Requirements:

• Degree-level education and 7+ years in fabric technology.
• Experience supplying UK retail leaders like M&S and Tesco.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Detail-driven, organised, and thrives under pressure.
• A proactive, confident approach and the ability to collaborate at all levels.
