Facilities Fabric Technician (Level 2 Carpentry required)Location: EnfieldSalary: £38,000 per annumShift Pattern: Monday to FridayHours: 8am 5pmInvictus are seeking an experienced Facilities Fabric Technician on behalf of a specialist engineering team within the Facilities Management (FM) industry, working at an iconic, high-profile building in Enfield, Greater London.This is a client-facing role within a professional environment, where members of the client organisation and the general public regularly use the facilities. A high standard of workmanship, presentation, and communication is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the sitePPM inspections & repairs of fire doors (locks, hinges, door handles)General plumbing/water system PPMCarpentry works, including doors, locks, fixtures, and fittingsHandyperson duties - general building repairs to ceiling tiles and holes in wallsEnsuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standardIssuing licences/permits to work for relevant contractorsLiaising professionally with clients, stakeholders, and members of the publicAccurately recording works completed in line with site proceduresEssential Skills & ExperienceLevel 2 qualification in Carpentry &/or JoineryProven experience in a fabric or facilities maintenance roleCompetent in plumbing, carpentry, and general handyperson tasksStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailProfessional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering teamSecurity & Compliance RequirementsDue to the nature of the site, successful candidates must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS checkWhats on OfferCompetitive salary of £38,000Sociable working hours from 8am 5pm Monday to FridayOpportunity to work in a prestigious, iconic buildingBe part of a specialist engineering team within a leading FM environmentStable, long-term role in a professional and well-managed settingNo out of hours rotaIf you are a skilled Facilities Fabric Technician looking to progress your career within a high-profile FM environment, we would like to hear from you.
