Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer (Temp) Location: Central London Contract Length: 3 Months Rate: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join a well-maintained office building in Central London on a 3-month temporary contract.

Working on behalf of the landlord, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive fabric maintenance, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across building fabric

*

Attend and resolve reactive maintenance issues

*

General building repairs including carpentry, painting, and decorating

*

Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, toilets, drainage)

*

Minor patch plastering and making good

*

Door maintenance (locks, hinges, closers)

*

Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations

*

Liaise with site management and other engineers where required

*

Complete job reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

Proven experience within a commercial maintenance / FM environment

*

Strong all-round fabric maintenance skillset

*

Basic plumbing knowledge

*

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

*

Good communication and client-facing skills

*

Health & safety awareness
