Early Years Teaching Assistant - Macclesfield

We are currently recruiting dedicated and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning in Reception classes for the new academic year. These roles offer a rewarding chance to help children in their early stages of development, build strong foundations for learning, and become a valued member of a welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities * Assist with early phonics, number skills, and personal development * Foster a positive and nurturing environment where young children feel safe and encouraged * Support pupils individually and in small groups to aid progress across key early development areas * Help with classroom setup, displays, and the organisation of learning materials * Provide support with personal care when needed (e.g. toileting, dressing) * Work collaboratively with EYFS staff, SENCOs, and other professionals

Role Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children in EYFS or an early years setting is highly desirable * A passion for working with young children and understanding of early childhood development * Strong communication skills and a calm, caring approach * Flexibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual pupils * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) * Right to work in the UK
