EYFS Teaching Assistant requiredto join the team in a good supportive Hornchurch school.

EYFS Teaching Assistant role - you will be required to support children in the reception area of the school through play-based learning, early phonics, communication, and social development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment.

To start after the Easter Break - Full Time Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.20pm (term time only)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Work with children in Reception across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop communication, play, and early learning skills.
• Assist the class teacher with planning, activities, and daily routines.
• Prepare resources and help set up engaging learning environments.
• Support children with social interaction and emotional regulation.
• Experience working with children in Early Years (EYFS) (nursery, preschool, or primary school)
• A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
• L2/L3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification.
