Internal Pharmaceutical Export | Remote (can be based anywhere in the UK)

We are supporting a fast-growing Pharmaceutical client, as they establish a newly export division to compliment their existing business, with a focus on supplying pharmaceutical and healthcare products to emerging and developing markets. As a result, we are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in building this business unit from the ground up.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a commercially driven individual with a strong understanding of international pharmaceutical exports, established market contacts, and a proven track record in developing export sales channels. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the export strategy, securing key accounts, and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the export sales strategy for the business across designated international markets

* Identify, build, and manage relationships with overseas distributors, wholesalers, and key buyers

* Leverage existing market contacts to accelerate market entry and revenue generation

* Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract discussions with international partners

* Work closely with sourcing, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure smooth and compliant export operations

* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory considerations within target regions

* Represent the business at international trade events, exhibitions, and partner meetings

* Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and market intelligence to senior management

Key Requirements

* Significant experience in Export Sales within Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, or Medical Supplies

* Strong understanding of international export markets, particularly emerging and developing regions

* Established network of international distributors, agents, or buyers

* Proven ability to open new markets and deliver sustained sales growth

* Sound knowledge of export documentation, logistics, and international trade practices

* Commercially astute, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

* Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-growing business environment

* Willingness to travel internationally as and when required
