Export Coordinator

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Export Coordinator to manage the movement of goods to customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role covering the full export process, ensuring shipments are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

The Role

Oversee the full export cycle across air, sea, and road freight, ensuring all activity meets relevant trade regulations Prepare and check shipping paperwork, including customs entries, commercial documents, and certificates for multiple global markets Maintain accurate application of Incoterms and advise colleagues on correct usage Monitor freight-forwarder performance and work with them to achieve agreed service levels and cost efficiencies Ensure compliance with post-Brexit EU import/export processes as well as other international market requirements Work closely with internal teams to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any transport or customs issues quickly Keep up to date with changes in trade legislation and adjust processes accordingly

About You

Experience in international trade, export operations, or customs compliance Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and trade regulations, including EU customs procedures Confident communicator able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities Proficient in using ERP systems and shipping platforms
