About the Role

As an Experienced Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering short-term, therapist-led interventions that prevent, reduce, and delay the need for ongoing services. Youll work closely with customers, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams to design creative reablement plans, assess needs, and provide equipment and adaptations that enable independence.

What Youll Do
  • Undertake complex occupational therapy assessments and create tailored support plans.
  • Manage a varied caseload, including challenging cases, and provide guidance to colleagues.
  • Recommend and oversee home adaptations and specialist equipment.
  • Deliver professional supervision and support to team members.
  • Work collaboratively with health professionals, voluntary sector partners, and families.
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met in line with legislation and local policy.
About You

Were looking for a qualified and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with:

  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of health, housing, and social care legislation.
  • Expertise in reablement, moving and handling assessments, and adaptations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to travel across Wiltshire and occasionally work outside standard hours.
