P J Harte Ltd are looking to recruit an additional Experienced Construction Estimator to join our Estimating Department based at our Head Office in Hither Green London SE13.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: Reviewing tenders and sending out packages to sub contractors and suppliers; Arranging and attending site surveys; Building up costs for in house works; Collating information received from sub contractors and suppliers; Preparing priced schedules of works; Preparing and returning tenders; Responding to any post tender queries; Handing over successful tender packages to the contracts managers department. Single tender packages typically range from £50k up to £3m and framework packages up to £30m. Skills and Experience P J Harte Ltd would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences: At least 3 years experience in estimating construction based tenders in the UK - preferably London. Background in Refurbishment Projects both internal and external ideally including High End Residential, Office and Commercial projects. Experience in pricing tenders on SOR, Take Offs and Spot Pricing basis Good computer skills with MS Excel essential Organised with the ability to work under pressure, self manage and to meet strict deadlines. Experience in pricing decorations, carpentry and general building works. Good mathematical skills and keen commercial awareness. xehkeey Established in 1974, P J Harte Ltd is a family run building refurbishment contractor, specialising in high end refurbishment works for a variety of clients within London.
