6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid, travel to London required)

Reporting to the VP Reward, the Executive Reward Manager (Interim) will oversee and drive the executive reward process for Pearson. The role involves close collaboration with Group Finance, Investor Relations, Company Secretarial, Tax, and Global Mobility. The Manager will serve as a trusted advisor, working with senior stakeholders to develop pragmatic executive reward solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with yearly remuneration committee and AGM cycle, including drafting and reviewing papers and backup analysis.
  2. Managing analysis for target setting, benchmarking, and valuation of benefits and equity awards.
  3. Supporting the design, implementation, and review of global career frameworks at senior levels.
  4. Conducting industry and financial research related to compensation strategies.
  5. Identifying emerging trends and regulatory developments impacting executive compensation.
  6. Developing pay structures and incentive designs aligned with business strategy.
  7. Standardizing policies and processes.
  8. Ensuring data integrity and security of reward information.
  9. Collaborating with Group Finance to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of reward metrics.
  10. Partnering on additional projects as assigned.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have experience in large or complex organizations or consultancy, with a passion for problem-solving and holistic thinking regarding executive reward.
