Job Description

Executive Assistant to Managing Director. West End. 60-70k plus bonus.

Flexible and trusted working environment. 9-5:30pm. Extensive benefits package. 28 days holiday.

A well-established and fast-growing professional services consultancy is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its Managing Director and wider leadership team.

Supporting the Managing Director, who holds overall responsibility for the firm’s leadership, strategy and external profile, this is a critical, high-trust role at the centre of the organisation. You will act as a true gatekeeper and ambassador for the MD, while working closely with the Management Board and their EAs to ensure smooth coordination and clear communication across the business.

This role will appeal to EAs from professional services, advisory or consulting environments where leadership teams are highly collaborative and rely on trusted, proactive EA support. The ideal candidate will be confident, diplomatic and highly organised, with experience supporting senior leaders or boards, and comfortable operating at the heart of a people-driven, fast-moving business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as primary point of contact and trusted gatekeeper for the MD
  • Coordinating high-value external engagements including meetings, events and speaking opportunities
  • Conducting background research to support meetings, pitches and strategic discussions
  • Supporting thought leadership and external communications in collaboration with marketing

Management Board & governance:

  • Full secretariat support for Management Board and Director meetings (agendas, minutes, actions and risk tracking)
  • Maintaining oversight of senior leadership diaries with authority to plan and prioritise activity
  • Supporting leadership interview scheduling and governance processes as required

Internal coordination & communications:

  • Ownership of the business-wide calendar and recurring leadership meetings
  • Preparing internal communication materials, briefings and company-wide presentations
  • Compiling and distributing weekly internal updates, sourcing inputs from across the business

Flexible working is supported; however, in-office presence is expected when the Managing Director is in, given the seniority of the role and the need for close working.
