Exam Invigilators - Secondary School - Brent - May/June 2026 - Flexible / Part-Time

Are you an experienced Exam Invigilator - or someone with school-based experience - looking for flexible work in a secondary school setting? Are you reliable, organised, and confident in maintaining a calm and professional exam environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Brent seeking dedicated Exam Invigilators to join their team on a flexible, part-time basis for the May/June 2026 exam season. This role is ideal for individuals looking for seasonal or ongoing exam-based work.

Exam Invigilator - Role Overview

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a vital role in ensuring examinations are conducted in accordance with school and JCQ regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing exam rooms in line with exam board requirements
• Checking attendance and verifying candidate identification
• Distributing and collecting exam papers securely
• Ensuring exam conditions are strictly maintained
• Supervising students during examinations
• Assisting students with queries in accordance with exam regulations
• Recording and reporting any incidents or irregularities
• Supporting students with access arrangements where required

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or experience working in a school setting (Desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures
• Professional, calm and confident manner
• Excellent punctuality and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
