Roles & Responsibilities

• Setting up the examination room according to JCQ regulations.
• Distributing and collecting exam papers and stationery.
• Directing students to their seats and verifying candidate identities.
• Supervising the exam hall to ensure silence and academic integrity.
• Assisting students with additional needs (e.g., reading or scribing).
• Escorting students for bathroom breaks or in the event of an emergency.
• Reporting any suspicious behaviour or technical issues to the Lead Invigilator.

• Clear verbal instructions for large groups of students.
• A calm, authoritative, and approachable demeanour.
• Meticulous attention to detail regarding paperwork and timing.
