We are seeking two Evidence Advisors to join the EA’s Natural Capital and Ecosystem Assessment (NCEA) Programme. These roles focus on designing and analyzing data from our water monitoring networks covering rivers, streams, groundwater, lakes, estuaries, and coasts.

The NCEA programme is part of the wider Defra-led initiative, gathering comprehensive data on ecosystems to highlight their benefits for people and the economy, i.e., natural capital. Your analyses will provide evidence to help policymakers recognize the true value of nature and support the UK’s environmental, net zero, and biodiversity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a fixed-term contract until 30/05/2027.

The Team:

You will join the Data Analysis and Statistics work package within the NCEA programme, supported by the Strategic Evidence Design and Assessment (SEDA) team. We promote a friendly, collaborative, and diverse work environment, providing training and support to all staff.

Flexible/hybrid working arrangements are supported. Travel may be required for team meetings in Birmingham/Bristol.
