Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury just a 2 minute walk from Russell Square tube station where the Piccadilly line runs 24hrs a day on Fridays and Saturdays! As an Events Planning Executive, we will support you to: As part of the corporate and MICE events team, your role will be focused on maximizing sales through structured events planning and achieving budget targets and guest satisfaction scores. You will have a flair for creativity, a knack for event planning & sales as well as able to give confidence to all guests walking through the door. Our Event Planning Executive will: Effectively plan and manage event bookings (MICE & Corporate) - including residential and non-residential. Demonstrate exceptional planning and handover of all event bookings. brand experience. Ensure that brand standards are met at all times. Adhere to company SOP's and ensure work is performed consistently within IHG policies. Perform any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by the Events Lead. Given the nature of this role, it's important that you have at least 1 years' experience within the events and hospitality industry. You are experienced in building relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders across different market segments and most of all you have guest relations experience as the ability to communicate well with guests is paramount.
