We are currently recruiting for Event Activation Bar Managers to join our full-time event activation team based in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in event organization, working with brands and management with a focus on cocktails. ROLE DESCRIPTION Events - You will be primarily focused on preparing and executing bar activations at events across the UK. - Lead and motivate a team on shift at our events. - Delivering live events, branded installs, and drinks strategies in line with Barnomadics and our clients brand standards. General - Collaborating as part of a drinks R&D team to create cocktail menu concepts and drinks for our events. - Supporting with the management, development, and maintenance of assets. - Supporting with logistics, planning, load-in and load-out for activations. - Following and executing processes and operations within our business. REQUIREMENTS - Hospitality management experience with a cocktail background. - A positive leadership style to help motivate, inspire, and develop our teams. - Confident personality with good verbal and written communication skills. - Punctual and self-motivated. - Able to problem solve and use your initiative within different pressured environments. - Organised and computer literate. Familiarity with Office 365 is a bonus. - Full UK drivers license. HOURS OF WORK, SALARY AND BENEFITS - This is a full-time position based on 40-45 hours per week. Hours worked in excess of 45 hours are either given back in lieu or paid at an overtime rate. - The role will be split between office-based activity 9am 5pm in our Edinburgh office and time spent at events around Edinburgh and the rest of the UK. - Starting salary of £30,000 per year with annual salary review. - Enrolment in yearly bonus scheme after 6 months. - Pension contributions (5% employee deductions and 3% employer contributions). - 28 days holiday per year that includes compulsory days of at Christmas. - Investment in training and development. - MacBook and Office 365 subscription. - Sustenance allowance when working out of the office for extended periods.
