You will be involved in projects that contribute to net-zero initiatives, as well as those focused on maintaining and upgrading existing network infrastructure. The role will include work on high-voltage overhead powerline (OHL) schemes.

You’ll work closely with Bid Managers, Project Development Managers, Pre-Construction Managers, design teams, and the commercial team. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week in the office at Annesley, Nottinghamshire.

Key responsibilities:

* Identifying project scope and associated risks

* Supporting Bid Managers with kick-off meetings and bid programme development

* Coordinating with procurement and commercial teams

* Reviewing and constructively challenging project solutions

* Analysing supply chain quotations and benchmarking costs

* Preparing tender pricing in Excel and reviewing with senior management (with potential future use of Candy software as per client requirements)

* Compiling client pricing documentation and supporting post-submission presentations

* Building and maintaining strong professional relationships

What you’ll bring:

* Proven experience in infrastructure projects (essential)

* Experience in 400kV overhead line estimating

* Basic knowledge of engineering and construction principles and terminology

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

* Familiarity with contractual terms and conditions

* Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

* Detail-oriented, proactive, organised, and methodical approach
