This role is to be focused on estimating & sales within the Heavy Engineering Sector, more specifically within lifting equipment and cranes. This is position is now live due to internal promotions.

THE BUSINESS
Our client is a market leading Industrial business with multiple arms to their business. Specialising within Lifting Operations, Industrial PPE & also Training packages, our client is able to offer a plethora of progression opportunities. This business prides themselves on their staff development initiatives, a clear progression plan will be put in place to enable you to develop in the best way you can.  The Estimator plays a key role in supporting the team by providing accurate and competitive price estimates for products and services offered by the company. You will work closely with customers, the sales team and the engineering director to understand project requirements and develop detailed cost estimates.  This role involves a combination of office-based work, customer interactions and collaboration with internal teams. The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
THE ROLE
Cost Estimation and Preparation, analyse project requirements, materials, labour and overhead costs to develop detailed and accurate price estimates.
Prepare professional and persuasive quotations, including cost breakdowns, project timelines and terms and conditions.
Liaise with engineering to understand requirements for each stage of their quotation documentation.
Order Processing, Manage the order processing system, including entering sales orders, tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery to customers
Customer Communication, Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers, ensuring effective communication and addressing customer enquiries.
Technical Documentation, maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including product specifications, pricing and sales contracts.
Sales Reporting, monitor sales reports, analysing key performance indicators and sales metrics.
THE PERSON
Previous estimating experience within an engineering field
Can reliably commute to Gateshead or Teesside.
Full driving licence.
Excellent communication skills
