Are you an Estimator, or do you have similar experience, looking for a stable, permanent role within an established precision fabrication engineering firm offering work-life balance, in-house training, and optional overtime?

This company offers profile cutting services using state-of-the-art laser, plasma, and waterjet equipment, which has led to its success for over 20 years. Due to an ever-increasing workload, they are looking for a new Estimator to join their 15-person team.

In this days-based role, you will be working in a collaborative team as you laser, plasma and waterjet cut a variety of materials from steel to stone, reply with email enquiries, draft projects using AutoCAD and handle quotes. Within the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday-Thursday and 8 - 2:30 on Friday.

This role would suit an Estimator or someone with similar experience looking for a long-term, stable position offering overtime, an early Friday finish, and in-house training to help develop your skills, all within a well-established company.

The role

  • Handle client enquiries
  • Prepare estimates and quotations for profiling projects
  • Draft projects in AutoCAD
  • Process and coordinate cutting projects (laser, plasma, waterjet)
  • Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-2:30pm + optional overtime

The person

  • Estimator or similar
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Commute to Glengarnock
